Our onsite Literacy Specialist is here to assist your child with reading and literacy deficiencies. To take advantage of these services, your child must be enrolled in the after school or summer program.



High school youth have the opportunity to earn volunteer hours while gaining job experience and leadership skills.  Exceptional volunteers are always welcome.

The dynamic eight week summer program for elementary and middle school youth, Summer Around the World, combines fun summer activities and cultural education.  Each week students "visit" different locations around the world and learn about new cultures through arts and crafts, science experiments, literacy activities, field trips, guest speakers, cooking, dance and much more!  Children also go swimming and visit the Pinellas Park Library weekly; breakfast, lunch and snack are provided. There is a fee for this program. Please call for pricing.

Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm


Our FREE after school program is centered around homework assistance and recreational activities.  The program is offered Monday-Thursday through the school year for Elementary and Middle school aged youth.

Elementary Program Hours: 3:00-5:30pm

Middle School Program Hours: 4:30-7:00pm

Registration takes place the second Monday in July.
